A quiet beachfront resort on Khaolak's coast: tropical garden, a pool that runs to the treeline, and buildings kept low so nothing stands between you and the sea.

The buildings are modern Thai-Burmese and traditional Southern Thai low-rise — deep eaves, timber, and roofs layered so the rooms stay cool without shutting out the garden. Nothing is more than a few storeys, which is the point: from the pool you see treeline, then sand, then the Andaman.
